Early in 2017 I received a request from a family friend that I might consider taking photos at their wedding the following October. Having never shot a wedding before I was initially hesitant, but after a few discussions it turned out that they had put some research into my other work and thus were undeterred by my inexperience in that specific field. Details were arranged and before I knew it the day was almost upon us.
The main venue was Oxford University's prestigious Bodleian Library, which while it is full of stunning architecture, relies heavily on natural lighting and thus is very dark, especially for an afternoon wedding in late October.
I was helped at this wedding by my 'second shooter' Hattie Hall.
